Baldemar D. Flores, Jr.

Baldemar D. Flores, Jr. passed away peacefully in his home in Floresville, Texas on May 6, 2024, at the age of 79 years old.  He was born on February 5, 1945 to loving parents, Crisanta D. & Baldemar L. Flores Sr. in Floresville, Texas.   Baldemar was a lifelong resident of Floresville and was proud to be a member of the Floresville community, where he raised his family.  He was the epitome of hard work and spent his life helping others with a wrench in his hand, keeping people safe on the road, one repair at a time.

Baldemar was preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life, his cherished wife, Mary M. Flores.  He is survived by his beloved children, Rachel Flores (Hernando Rodriguez), Baldemar Flores III, Rebecca Ortiz (Liborio Ortiz Jr.), Rosella Brown, and Joseph Flores (Trinity).  He also leaves behind twenty grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.  He will be missed by his siblings, Maryesther Hogarth, Micky Vargas, Erasmo Flores (Ophelia), Dora Shultz (Tom), Cosme Flores (B.G.), David Flores (Sandra), Eddie Flores (Pilar), and Sandra Ramirez.  He truly left a beautiful mark on this world and will be missed by his sister-in-laws, Connie Miranda and Caroline Jasso as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Franklin Funeral Home at 12:30 pm on Saturday, May 11, 2024 and a Funeral Service will begin at 2:30 pm.  On behalf of the Flores Family, thank you for your help in keeping Baldemar’s beautiful memories alive.
