Arturo "Tudy" Castillo

Arturo “Tudy” Castillo, age 64, passed peacefully into his eternal rest in Poth, Texas on February 26, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born to Elizabeth & Joel Castillo in Floresville, Texas on May 29, 1960.  Arturo was a longtime resident of Poth.  He was a simple man who loved his family.  He also loved fishing, playing the guitar, football games, and flea markets.  Arturo worked for many years in concrete and was also a man of faith.  Through struggles in life he would often read the bible and was a proud congregant of Impact Christian Fellowship.

Arturo was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth & Joel Castillo, and his brothers, Joel Castillo Jr & Joe Castillo.  He is survived by his children, Katrina Martinez (Paul), Arthuro Castillo (Julia), and Jennifer Castillo; and his grandchildren, Timothy Martinez, Bryan Martinez, Darryn Castillo, and Kaden Martinez.   He also leaves behind his siblings, Connie Castillo, Armando Castillo (Lupita), Genevieve Fantus (Jim), Josie Castillo (Mike), Ruth Sefcik, Sara Herrera (David), and Rita Garcia (Raul).  Arturo’s memory will be forever cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on March 5, 2025 at the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church and a service will begin at 11:00 am.  Interment will directly follow at the Emmanuel Assembly of God Cemetery.
