Antonio “Anthony” Servantes Jr. passed away in San Antonio, Texas on March 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to devoted parents, Linda & Antonio Servantes Sr. on August 20, 1973, in Floresville, Texas. Anthony was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and a man whose passions brought joy to those around him. Anthony spent his early years in Floresville, where he began his lifelong passion for baseball. From little league to high school, you could find Anthony on the pitching mound. As time passed, baseball games turned into baseball cards and the mound was traded in for a BBQ pit. His delicious ribs and infectious smile warmed the hearts of everyone who gathered around his table. Above all though, Anthony was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Anthony is preceded in death by his father, Antonio “Tony” Servantes Sr.; his brother, Johnny Ray Servantes; his grandfather, Genovevo Moreno; his great-grandparents, Julio & Tomasita Trevino; his aunt, Doris Day; and his cousin, Connor Day. He is survived by his mother, Linda Servantes; his daughters, Serena Servantes & Skylynn Servantes; and his granddaughter, Aria Grace Fernandez. He also leaves behind his grandmother, Mary Ellen Moreno, and his siblings, Andy “Chemo” Servantes (Jessica) and Stacy Servantes. Anthony’s warmth and love for life will forever be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held at 5:00 pm on March 28, 2025 at Franklin Funeral Home and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.
