Andrew Coronado Sr.

Andrew Coronado Sr. passed into his eternal rest on Monday, August 14, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas.  Andrew was born in Poth, Texas to loving parents, Virginia and Fermin Coronado on November 30, 1938.  Andrew resided in San Antonio , Texas at the time of his death and was a proud Veteran of the United States Marines.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia & Fermin Coronado and his siblings: Victor G. Coronado, Louis G. Coronado, Ruben G. Coronado, Daniel G. Coronado, Poli G. Coronado, Elena Coronado, Mandy Coronado, Margaret Salas, and Felicita Palmarez.  He is survived by his children, Ida Rose (Steve), Bernice Wides, Verna Smith (Kevin), Andres Coronado Jr. , Daniel Coronado, and Roldan Coronado (Paula). He also leaves behind his siblings, Joe Coronado, David Coronado, Vickie Garcia, and Janie Coronado as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.  He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on August 21, 2023.  The rosary will be recited at 10:00 am and Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am.  Interment will directly follow at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery.
