Amelia Martinez Aranda passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 in Floresville at the age of 89 years 2 months 7 days. She was born on April 12, 1933 in Floresville to Roberto & Juanita Marin Martinez. Amelia was a lifetime resident of Floresville and a former member of the Guadalaupanas. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Eulalio Aranda; Daughter, Victoria Hernandez; Sister, Lina M. Garay; Brother, David Martinez. She is survived by her Daughter, Esther & husband, David Valdez, Sr. of Floresville; Sisters & Brothers, Rose Quintanilla of La Vernia, Oralia Trinidad of Floresville, Wally Martinez of Floresville, Juan & wife, Florencia Martinez of Kerrville, Jesse Martinez of Lubbock; Grandchildren, David Valdez, Jr., Erykah Rodriguez, James Hernandez & Kevin Hernandez, Sr.; Great Grandchildren, Ethan, Isaac, Derrick, Kamryn, Abby, Danika, Jakob, Vicky, Kendra,, Kevin, Jr., Nathan & Kaylee; Great Great Granddaughter, Paris; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & a host of friends. Visitation was held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in Franklin Funeral Home. Rosary was recited on Friday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home Chapel. Visitation was also held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 9:30 until 11:00 A.M. in Franklin Funeral Home. Mass was celebrated on Saturday at 11:30 A.M. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment followed in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery/
