Alicia Dominguez passed away peacefully in her Floresville, Texas home, surrounded by family, on January 16, 2026 at the age of 74. She was born to loving parents, Lucinda Ramirez Ruiz and Pascual V. Ortiz in Lovell, Wyoming on August 22, 1951.

A lifelong homemaker, Alicia devoted her life to her family. She was deeply loved by her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. Through her steady presence and unwavering care, she became the heart that held her family together, creating a home filled with love and belonging. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Alicia was preceded in death by her parents, Lucinda Ramirez Ruiz & Pascual V. Ortiz; her step-father, Abelardo Ruiz; and her brother, Pascual Ortiz, Jr. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jesus Dominguez, and her children, Paul Ortiz (Elma), Jesse Dominguez (Jennifer), and Ana Dominguez. She was also preceded by her grandchildren, Jessica Dominguez, Mark Anthony Dominguez, Di’Ana Dominguez, Trent Walker, Roy Hinojosa (Alyssa Flores), Daniel Hinojosa (Sweet-Lealani Angel Tollett), Raul Hinojosa, Damien Dominguez, and Aaron Paul Ortiz, and her great-grandchildren, Gene Kane Hinojosa and Judah-Lilian Sol Hinojosa. Alicia will be forever cherished by her siblings, Maria and Gregorio Moreno, Olga and Anthony Martinez, Arjelia and Serfin Serano, Oscar and Eva Ortiz, Juan and Linda Ortiz, Ruben and JoAnn Ortiz, Carlos and Amelia Ortiz, Freddie and Rebecca Ortiz, Guadalupe Ortiz, and Consuelo Trevino. Alicia’s warmth and memory will live on through her family, including numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on January 22, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 am and a funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will directly follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
