Alexander Martinez

Alexander Martinez passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Floresville at the age of 73 years 11 months 2 days. He was born on December 4, 1948 in Galveston to Sixto & Tillie Rodriguez Martinez. Alexander was a Floresville resident since 1985 and a former resident of Galveston. He was a Veteran, having retired from the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of the El Mesias Methodist Church in Floresville.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sixto & Tillie Rodriguez Martinez; his Daughter, Angelia Martinez; and his Sister, Rita Martinez & Brothers, Isidro Martinez and Sixto Martinez Jr. He is survived by his Wife, Lucy Alonzo Martinez of Floresville; Daughter, Leah & husband, Eric Jones of Floresville; Sister, Ernestina Garcia of Austin; Grandchildren, Noah Aiden Jones & Raylan Caleb Jones; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in Franklin Funeral Home. Prayer Service will follow at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in El Messias Methodist Church with Pastor Fernanda Casar officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
