Adam Rodriguez Palacios

Adam Rodriguez Palacios, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, at the age of 96. Born in Kenedy, Texas on December 27, 1928, to Maria Rodriguez & Alejos Palacios, Adam led a life full of faith, love, and service. Adam served for twenty-one years in the United States Army Air Corp and later Air Force during the Korean War. His time in the military took him around the world.  Yet no matter how far he traveled, his heart always remained in South Central Texas, the place he called home.  A man of deep faith, Adam served faithfully as an elder in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Floresville. He was a spiritual pillar in his congregation, dearly loved by his large spiritual family. His wisdom, compassion, and devotion to Jehovah were evident in every aspect of his life.  Adam was also a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. His legacy lives on through his family, who carry forward his strength, values, and love.

Adam was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Herminia Luna Palacios; his son, Reynaldo Luna Palacios; his parents, Maria & Alejos Palacios; and his siblings, Alejos Palacios, Enrique Palacios, Julia Artiaga, and Eva Gonzalez. He is survived by his children, Maria Luisa Fernandez (Richard), Ricardo Luna Palacios (Dolores), Adam Luna Palacios, and Rosalinda Luna Palacios.  He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who loved him dearly.

A visitation will be held at 2:00 pm on May 31, 2025 at Franklin Funeral Home and a Funeral Service will begin at 4:00 pm.  Adam Rodriguez Palacios will be remembered for his service to his country, his dedication to his faith, and the deep and enduring love he had for his family, both physical and spiritual. His long life was a blessing, and his memory will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew him.
