Abel "Cha-Cho" Perez

Abel “Cha-Cho” Perez entered into his eternal rest on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 7:05 pm in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by his loving family.  Abel was a lifetime resident of Floresville, Texas where he met the love of his life, Teresa, and they raised their beautiful children.  Though he will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him, he leaves behind a legacy of not only hard work and dedication, but of laughter, love,  and joy.

Abel is preceded in death by his son, Gabriel Perez.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Teresa Ann Perez.  He will also be forever cherished by his children, Gabrielle Perez (Braxton), Ryann Perez (Zabian), and Joziah Perez, and his grand-daughter, Brynleigh.  Abel is also survived by his parents, Irma P. Castoreno (Joe), Margarito G. Castoreno (Lupina), and Abel Falcon (Josie).  He also leaves behind his grandmother, Gloria R. Perez, and his siblings, Mario P. Castoreno, Susie, Adrian, Jennifer, Sofie, Felipe, and Edward.  He was beloved by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm  on Monday March 3, 2025 at Franklin Funeral Home and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
